The Centralia College baseball team was swept by Lower Columbia College over the weekend, losing a pair of doubleheaders to finish the four-game set 0-4.

The Red Devils opened the series with a convincing 10-0 win, but the second game at Bob Peters Field went into extra innings tied at one.

LCC took a two-run lead in the top half of the tenth, and the Trailblazers were only able to get one back in the bottom half.

Finn Still earned a no decision despite an excellent start, as he allowed just four hits and one run across six innings. Trey Jacobsen didn't allow a hit in three and a third innings of relief, but he was charged with the loss after his two walks came around to score in the final inning.

Nolan Christ and Reuben Elliston both recorded a pair of hits, and Christ and Jack Skelley drove in a run.

Game 1 in Longview, the third game of the series, went similarly to Game 1 in Centralia, with LCC earning a 10-0 win, and the Red Devils completed the sweep with a 3-1 win.

Lincoln McVicker was charged with the loss despite a quality start, as he allowed just three hits and three runs in six innings. Christ went 2 for 3 in the finale and drove in CC's run, while Elliston collected Centralia's other hit.

CC (11-18, 2-5 NWAC) will be back at home on Saturday to host Pierce in a doubleheader, and then the Trailblazers will head to Lakewood for another doubleheader against the Raiders on Sunday.
