Centralia College sweeps doubleheader against Clark
The Centralia College baseball team swept Clark Community College in a double-header during its final two home games of the 2026 season, first 4-1 and then 3-2 Thursday.
The Trailblazers led wire to wire in the opener, scoring runs in each of the first two innings before plating two in the seventh. Liam Karlson was one out away from pitching a complete game, going 8.2 strong, striking out five and allowing just one run on four hits.
In game two, Centralia College took an early lead on a third-inning RBI single by Mitchell Rowe before Clark tied it in the fifth. Kaleb Campbell gave the Trailblazers the lead in the sixth with an RBI single, and Jack Skelley's RBI single in the seventh was enough to seal it. Asher Guerrero struck out four batters in seven innings while surrendering one unearned run on three hits.
Centralia College (21-25, 9-13 NWAC) has won six games in a row and will face Clark again in Vancouver Saturday for a double-header to close the regular season.
