Trailblazers fall to Storm in NWAC Crossover opener
The Centralia College men's basketball team had its best offensive outing of the season on Friday night, but it wasn't enough, as the Trailblazers were beaten by Chemeketa 92-82 in the first game of the NWAC Crossover.
The Trailblazers trailed by 10 at halftime, and early in the second half, they got within three.
The Storm then went on a 25-9 run to rebuild the lead and then some, and the Trailblazers never got back within seven.
Andrew Collins scored 22 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and dished out four assists to lead the team in all three categories.
Shay Brannon added 18 points and five rebounds, while Reilly McIlraith scored nine points. Clay Morgan, Lance Green, and Tucker Lowber scored eight each.
The Trailblazers (0-10) will be back in action on Saturday at Michael Smith Gymnasium to face Spokane, and they'll round out crossover weekend on Sunday at home against Olympic.
