Centralia College Names Garret Wenrich Head Men’s Soccer Coach
Centralia College is excited to announce the hiring of Garret Wenrich as the new Head Coach of the men's soccer program.
Wenrich joins the Trailblazers following a championship season at Indian Hills Community College, where he served as an assistant coach for the 2025 NJCAA Division I National Championship team. During his lone season with the Warriors, Indian Hills compiled a 12-6-4 overall record while capturing the national title.
Prior to Indian Hills, Wenrich spent two seasons as an assistant coach at California State University, Chico, helping guide the Wildcats to a top-20 national ranking and an appearance in the second round of the NCAA Division II National Tournament.
Wenrich also previously served as the head assistant coach at Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, California, where he helped the program secure a Northern Section Championship and advance to back-to-back NorCal State semifinals.
"Garret is knowledgeable, passionate, and is excited to help continue to build our men's soccer program," said Athletic Director Jason Moir. "As an athletic department, we are excited to see his leadership guide these young men not only on the field, but in the classroom and throughout our community."
Wenrich earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon and a Master of Arts degree in Kinesiology, Sport Psychology, and Coaching from Chico State.
Known for his strong leadership, competitive mindset, and dedication to student-athlete development, Wenrich is eager to begin building the next chapter of Centralia College men's soccer.
"I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to lead the men's soccer program at Centralia College," Wenrich said. "I'm excited to build relationships with our student-athletes and create a culture centered on growth, accountability, and success both on and off the field."
The Trailblazers look forward to the future under Wenrich's leadership as the program continues to grow and compete at a high level.
