CC softball earns No. 11 seed for NWAC Softball Championship

The Centralia College softball team finished the regular season 22-20, earning the No. 11 seed in the 12-team Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) Softball Championship.

The Trailblazers will face No. 6 Walla Walla in the Round of 12 on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at Delta Park in Portland.

The Walla Walla Warriors finished its regular season 30-13 overall and 17-7 in NWAC play. CC and Walla Walla did not face each other in the regular season.

The winner of the first-round matchup will advance to the double-elimination portion of the tournament and will face No. 3 Edmonds in a quarterfinal on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The loser will be eliminated.
