Bio
Kayla's coaching career spans over a 7-year period most recently at Rochester High School. There she was the head coach for both the boys and girls golf teams. Prior to that she coached for three years at Kellogg High School in Kellogg, ID. Over those 7 years, Kayla took multiple golfers to state and even helped the boys team at Kellogg earn 1st place at the state championships.
Prior to her teaching and coaching the last 7 years, Kayla graduated from Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, ID where she was a member of the women's golf team for four years. She earned medalist honors in multiple tournaments along with multiple top 5 finishes. During her college golf career, she made it with her team to the NAIA National Championships two separate years.
Kayla is a proud Tumwater High School graduate where she earned many honors during her playing career. She is an Apprentice of the LPGA Teaching Professionals and is working towards her Class A membership. Kayla brings enthusiasm for the game of golf and the life lessons that it can teach. She stresses that a student-athlete is a student first so school will take top priority. When Kayla is not coaching or playing golf herself she likes to spend time with her fiancé, friends, and family.
