The Centralia College volleyball team co-hosted the first Blazer/Clipper Classic with South Puget Sound Community College over the weekend, and the Trailblazers went 3-1 over four games.

After losing to Bellevue in three, the Trailblazers swept Everett, Mt. Hood, and Clark.

Avery Starr impressed again, tallying 143 assists, 27 digs, 10 blocks, five kills, and four aces across the weekend, while Meleseini Hutchings had 43 digs and 42 kills while hitting at a .282 attack percentage.

Jada Whitmore led the team in blocks with 13 and added 41 kills at a .487 attack percentage, and Paige Miller added 36 kills and five blocks while hitting a .302.

"We're starting to find our rhythm as a team," Centralia College coach Ceanna Michalek said. "It's exciting to see our entire roster contributing in some way to a successful weekend. There is depth to our program and it certainly shows."

CC (8-4) will be back at home on Tuesday to host Pacific University.
