Centralia College takes down Pacific’s JV squad
The Centralia College volleyball team cruised to a win over Pacific University's JV squad on Tuesday, sweeping the Boxers 25-10, 25-13, 25-17.
Meleseini Hutchings led the effort with 15 digs, 13 kills, and four aces, while Jada Whitmore added 11 kills and Paige Miller tallied nine.
Avery Starr continued to operate the offense efficiently, dishing out 35 assists while adding eight digs defensively.
"Our ladies did a great job of pushing them out of system tonight," Centralia College coach Ceanna Michalek said. "We were able to mix things up and play with the depth in our roster. We're working hard to find our rhythm before we enter conference play next week."
Before NWAC play, the Trailblazers (9-4) will head to Linn-Benton Community College in Albany, Oregon for the NWAC Crossover Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
