The Centralia College volleyball team got back in the win column on Wednesday, sweeping South Puget Sound 25-18, 25-23, 25-22 at home.

Meleseini Hutchings tallied 15 kills and eight digs, while Avery Starr added 32 assists and six digs.

Cadence Gumanas added 19 digs, while Paige Miller logged eight kills and Abcde Rogers collected six.

The win puts CC (20-8, 9-2 NWAC) back into first place in the NWAC West, but it could be temporary.

Highline and Lower Columbia are both 8-2, a half-game back of Centralia College. If CC wins its finale on Friday, and both the Thunderbirds win their final two games, then the three teams will all finish as co-champions.

The Trailblazers will host Pierce College in their regular season finale on Friday.
