The Centralia College basketball teams both picked up wins at home on Saturday, as the men's and women's teams swept both ends of a doubleheader against Tacoma Community College 79-71 and 83-77, respectively.

In the first half of the men's game, the Trailblazers raced out to a 33-19 lead and led by 11 at the break. Centralia continued to build on its lead early in the second half, leading by as many 20 midway through, but Tacoma began to chip away at its deficit with an 11-2 run.

The Trailblazers settled back in, though, never letting the lead become less than seven.

Maximus Holliman led Centralia with 17 points and three rebounds, while Julian Ibarra provided a spark off the bench with 15 points.

Luke Brewer added 13 points, five rebounds, and three steals, and Andrew Collins finished with 12 points, five rebounds, and four assists.

The men's team (14-9, 4-5 NWAC) will host Gray's Harbor on Wednesday.
